STAFF VACANCIES

3.         Lecturer I - CONPCASS 11
1.         A Doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognized Institution of higher learning with at least three years of teaching/research in an Institution of higher learning industrial experience and contribution to scholarly publications will be an advantage    OR
2.         A Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized Institution of higher learning with at least 5 years teaching and/research in an Institution of higher learning, industrial experience and contribution to scholarly publications will be an advantage.

3.         In addition to the above requirements, the candidate should have:-
i.          Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise research/projects
ii.         At least two conference/seminar papers read since last promotion:

• At least, one additional journal article accepted for publication;
• Some evidence of administrative and community service.

4.         Lecturer II - CONPCASS 09
1.         A Masters degree in the relevant field plus at least 3 years teaching experience OR a Doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognized Institution.
2.         In addition to (1) above, the candidate should have evidence of either
i.          Presentation of two seminar/conference papers OR
ii.         One journal article accepted for publication.

5.         Lecturer III - CONPCASS 08
1.         A Masters degree in relevant field from a recognized University with NYSC Certificate plus evidence of post secondary teaching qualification.
2.         A good honours degree in relevant field with at least 3 years relevant experience plus evidence of post secondary teaching qualification.

6.         Assistant Lecturer – CONPCASS 07

A good honours degree with NYSC Certification plus evidence of post secondary teaching qualification.

7.         Technologists
i)          Principal Technologists – CONPCASS 11
1.         A full Technological Certificate (or equivalent) plus at least 12 years service or HND with 9 years service.
ii)         Senior Technologists – CONPCASS 09
 1.        A full Technological Certificate (or equivalent) plus at least 12 years service or HND with 6 years service.

8.         Principal Librarian – CONPCASS 11
            A Masters degree in Library Science with 3 years cognate experience

9.         Senior Librarian – CONPCASS 09
1.         A Masters degree in Library Science with 3 years cognate experience OR a Bachelors degree in Library Science with 6 years experience Or approval University degree with post Graduate qualification in Library Students plus 5 years experience.

10.       Librarian I - CONPCASS 08
1.         A Masters degree in Library Science OR a Bachelors degree in Library Science with 3 years cognate experience OR approved University degree plus Post Graduate Diploma in Library Studies plus 2 years of cognate work experience.
11.       Librarian II – CONPCASS 07

12.       Chief Security Officer (Contract Appointment) - NEGOTIABLE
A retired Military Officer not below the rank of Major or a retired Police Officer not below the rank of CSP with at least 8 years cognate experience.

Security Officers   (Contract Appointment) – NEGOTIABLE

13.       Director of Works and Maintenance - CONTEDISS 15
A fully registered Civil Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with at least 18 years relevant experience OR
A registered Engineer with a Masters degree in relevant field with 15 years experience.

14.       Senior Assistant Registrar – CONTEDISS 11
            i)          Guidance & Counseling
A good honours degree in Guidance & Counseling from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus 8 years post qualification cognate experience Or relevant Masters degree plus at least 6 years cognate experience.
            ii)         Public Relations
A good honours degree in relevant field from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus 8 years post qualification cognate experience Or relevant Masters degree plus at least 6 years cognate experience.

15.       Assistant Registrar – CONTEDISS 09
            i)          Guidance & Counseling
            ii)         Public Relations
A Masters degree from a recognized Institution plus, at least 3 years cognate work experience.

16.       Senior Medical Lab. Scientist – CONTEDISS 09
1.         A degree in Medical Laboratory Science, registrable with the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Nigeria plus at least 6 years of post qualification cognate experience.
2.         A recognized Masters degree in Medical Laboratory Science, registered with the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Nigeria plus at least 4 years of post qualification cognate experience.

17.       Staff Nurse I – CONTEDISS 08
A Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or a good honours degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution of higher learning.

18.       Pharmacy Technician – CONTEDISS 06
A Pharmacy Technician Certificate obtained from the School of Health Technology and the candidate should be registered with the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology.

These are as obtainable in the Service of Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.  Entry point into all posts depends on years of experience.
